Posing Guide With 21 Sample Poses to Get Started with Photographing Women
This is the first part in a series of posts about Posing Guide.
Even if you ever run out of ideas, put in the work, or just need a guide when photographing woman positions, you can use the following example posings as "crib sets". Many professional photographers are using this technique for the preparation and during the photo session.
Attitudes in this Article shall be selected as the starting reference. I would advise to look at the posture along with your topic, especially if she is inexperienced. During a photo shoot, feel free, the theme, to represent it, or does not discuss work in a given situation. It is usually very productive, and both of you will be more confident in what you're doing feel.
Okay, now let's start the poses one by one.

1-- (The picture above) This is a very easy way to start portrait. Your model looks over the shoulder. Notice how unusual and interesting portrait could, if you shot to look only at a different angle.

2-- (The picture above) The hands do not visible or at least not to dominate, in portrait photography. However, you can be creative by playing the model with her hands, trying different positions around the head and face. Remember, however: no flat palms and you must see only sides of hands!

3-- (The picture above) You may be familiar with the rules of composition, such as the rule of thirds. Likewise pleasant effects can be created by a diagonal looking. And do not forget that you do not need to hold the camera perfectly even flat level. Do not be afraid to tilt it, so you could get some unusual and interesting posing perspectives.

4-- (The picture above) A sitting model is really easy, beautiful and nice pose. The knees should touch each other. Shoot the photo slightly from above. You can create thousands of variations of this pose.

5-- (The picture above) As a sample of attractive and open pose, model lies on the floor. Lie down and shot almost from the ground.

6-- (The picture above) Only as a variation of the pose with model lying on the floor. Both arms may also be lowered to the ground. This pose works very well outdoors, in the wild flower meadow or on the grass. You should shot from the level close to the ground.

7-- (The picture above) An easy and simple pose, but it looks absolutely stunning. You must get down and shoot almost at ground level. Then try to slowly move around the model, by taking photographs. Also your model can change hand and head position, for different poses.

8-- (The picture above) Another simple, but beautiful pose for all body types of women. Try the other arm and leg positioning. And don't forget to focus on your model's eyes.

9-- (The picture above) This is really a nice attitude. Works well in a variety of conditions on the ground. For example, your model can lie in the grass, on a sandy beach, on the bed, on the ground, etc. Shoot from a very low level and remember to focus on her eyes.

10-- (The picture above) A beautiful and easy posing... Model is sitting on the floor. You can find thousands of different poses with sitting model.

11-- (The picture above) Also this is an easy and andr simple pose, specially with woman models. You can try different directions and angles, with a model sitting on the floor.

12-- (The picture above) This is a w wonderful pose to show the beauty of the model's body. This pose works very well as a silhouette in front of a lightly background.

13-- (The picture above) Simple and casual looking attitude; many variations are possible. Turn the model on her body, experiment with arm and hand positioning and try different rotations of the head.

14-- (The picture above) Another simple posture. Model turns slightly to her side, her hands in her back pockets.

15-- (The picture above) Also slightly leaning forward, may give very appealing gesture. This is a subtle way to emphasize the upper body of a female model.

16-- (The picture above) This can be quite sexy pose. Keep model's arms above the head, shows body curves. Specially compatible with fit body types.

17-- (The picture above) Standing in full height may give you endless variations. Of course, this is only a starting point. You can get many nice poses, when your model change her body positioning, change the direction of the head and the eyes, etc.

18-- (The picture above) When your model standing and holding his back to the wall, this is a relaxed pose. Note that the model may use the wall to put her hands on, or to support her back, or to recline her shoulder, etc.

19-- (The picture above) Do not forget that, full height settings are very liked pose. But this pose must be used with slim, fit and athletic body types. Posing principles are simple: The body should be bent in the S-shape, the arms should be relaxed, and the weight is only supported on one leg.

20-- (The picture above) Again a wonderful posing for athletic slim models. In this pose, many variations may be possible. To find the best pose, turn the model slowly move her hands and turn her body constantly. If you catch a good posture, ask your model to keep her condition and take few photos. Repeat these steps for the complete set.

21-- (The picture above) This is absolutely an impressive and also romantic pose. All kinds of cloth may be used for this pose. It is not necessary to be completely naked back. Sometimes only a bare shoulder makes pretty good job.

So, there is something to start for you. I hope that you will find at least a few poses for use in a variety of shooting situations! Note that each of the original sample conversations should only be a starting point. Each pose has endless variations! Be creative and adjust the position as needed (eg to try different camera angles and ask your model to change the position of her hands, head and foot, etc.)
